Paul Merrick brings decades of hands-on construction experience, building homes from the ground up and leading projects from framing to full completion. He began his career in Northern California’s Bay Area, working on residential home construction before founding Paul Merrick Construction Inc.

Through his company, Paul completed window and door installations for The Home Depot and delivered home additions, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and full-home renovations throughout the Sacramento and Bay Area. His work also included custom homes and structural projects, giving him a deep, real-world understanding of how to build correctly—from the foundation to the finish.

Over time, his business grew into a referral-based company built on craftsmanship, reliability, and doing the job right the first time.

In 2010, Paul relocated the business to San Diego—where he was born and raised—to continue serving homeowners in the community he knows best. At Merribuild, Paul leads construction execution, ensuring every project is built with precision, accountability, and true hands-on experience.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys restoring classic muscle cars, spending time with his wife and four children, and catching a good movie at the theater—with a Caramello in hand.
