Sean Merrick has worked in residential construction since high school, gaining hands-on experience alongside his father, Paul Merrick, on remodels, additions, and new builds. That early experience shaped his practical, problem-solving approach and deep understanding of how projects come together in the real world.

At Merribuild, Sean focuses on turning ideas into clear, buildable plans. He works closely with homeowners on design coordination, permitting, and project feasibility—helping navigate city requirements, align budgets, and ensure each project is set up for a smooth build from the start.

Sean's background in biology and engineering allows him to think through projects both technically and practically. He also leads Merribuild’s technology and processes—implementing modern tools that improve communication, streamline selections, and give clients clear visibility throughout their project.

Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time outdoors exploring local trails, native plants, and wildlife. On some weekends, you’ll find him at the track racing cars on road courses, where precision and performance matter just as much as they do in construction.
